Understanding Stock Visibility #
FieldAx provides comprehensive views of inventory across all locations, enabling informed decisions about stock levels and transfers.
Accessing Inventory Information #
Step 1: Navigate to Inventories
- Open FieldAx app
- Click Inventories tab
- Inventory dashboard displays
Step 2: Choose Appropriate View #
Select from available inventory views:
Standard Views Available
- All Inventory: Complete stock across locations
- Low Stock Items: Items below minimum
- By Location: Stock at specific locations
- By Product Category: Grouped by type
- Trunk Stock: Mobile inventory only
- Critical Items: High-priority parts
Selecting a View:
- Click dropdown arrow next to view name
- Choose desired view (e.g., “All Inventory”)
- List refreshes with filtered data
Step 3: View Current Stock #
The inventory list displays:

Status Indicators:
- ✓ Green: Adequate stock
- ⚠ Yellow: Low stock warning
- ❌ Red: Out of stock or critical

Column Explanations
- Product Name: Item description
- Location: Where inventory is stored
- Qty on Hand: Current available quantity
- Min: Reorder point
- Max: Maximum stock level
- Status: Visual health indicator
Advanced Viewing Options #
Filtering Options
- Filter by location
- Search by product name
- Show only low stock
- Display specific categories
Sorting Options
- Sort by quantity (low to high)
- Alphabetical by product
- By location
- By status (critical first)
Export Capabilities
- Export to Excel
