Understanding Job Creation #

Service plans automatically generate jobs based on configured frequency:

Automatic Generation Process

  1. System checks active service plans daily
  2. Identifies plans needing jobs
  3. Creates jobs based on schedule
  4. Assigns to designated engineer
  5. Notifies dispatcher

Schedule Job Function #

The Schedule Job button enables:

Manual Job Creation

  • Generate next scheduled job
  • Override automatic scheduling
  • Create emergency visits
  • Add one-time services

Job Creation Options

  1. Click Schedule Job
  2. Select options:
    • Use plan defaults
    • Override engineer
    • Adjust timing
    • Add special instructions
  3. Confirm creation

View related jobs:

Jobs (1) Tab Shows

  • All jobs created from this plan
  • Job numbers and status
  • Scheduled dates
  • Completion status
  • Service history
